I’m not crying….you’re crying 😭 I felt the same way when my kids moved out of the house. I was very aware that nothing would be the same again, but happy for their next stage of life. It’s still hard to walk by their empty rooms 😞

So, now I just drive 10 minutes to their house and bug them 😄

I keep telling the kids I can't wait for my apartments next to their campuses. Where will I be wintering, Matteo?

Motherhood is truly all the moms telling us we will be okay and in turn we tell the younger moms it’s gonna be okay. It’s gonna be an amazing year for you all. Your boy is gonna be okay and Emily will be okay, too. Brava

Emmy! I remember the day he was born! Crazy he’s a SR! Definitely got choked up on this one. Mine are 4th grade and Kindergarten… and I’m already missing those snuggles from just a few years ago. I try to remember that when they get a lil sassy about doing x chore. Love hearing your journey of motherhood. You are crushing it!

Davey!! So happy to hear from you! My god, my kids are old. Hold on tight to those little kiddos.... I know you are and I'm sure you are also absolutely crushing it. Matteo was always so snuggly...always sosoclose and now hugs from him consist mostly of him using me as a tackling dummy. But I'll take what I can get. At least Ruby still hugs me. ;) Hope life is treating you well....xo Emmy
